Martin married Edith Jensen in 1917. Their first daughter, Marie (b 1918), was born in Louisiana. They had moved to Washingtonville, New York, before their second daughter, Dorothy (b 1921), was born. They were divorced some time before 1930.

Edith's parents (Jensen) and her older sister, Ellen (b 1897), were also born in Louisiana.
Edith married Martin Sorensen in 1917. Their first daughter, Marie (b 1918), was born in Louisiana. They had moved to Washingtonville, New York, before their second daughter, Dorothy (b 1921), was born.

271), the home of her sister, Ellen (33), and her husband Arthur S. Luff (45) (b 1885; in England). Also living there, were Ellen's daughter, Doris (13)(b 1917), and Edith's two daughters, Marie (12), and Dorothy (9). Arthur Luff was employed as an Engineer on a steamship. Edith was an advertising director.
Edith became the Advertising manager of the Maison Blanche establishment in New Orleans, and later became a free lance advertiser.
In 1958, Edith moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, to be near her daughter, Dot, and her husband, John Dillon, who was stationed there at the time. Edith got a job in the advertising department of the Liberty House, a Honolulu establishment.

Dot learned to be a model at the Powers School of Modeling in New York. In Louisiana, she worked for Movie Models, Inc., producers of fashion show shorts, which were shown at movie theaters.
She was on her way back to New York to model, when she stopped to visit her sister, Marie West, in Albany, Georgia. She got a job at Turner Field, an Airforce Base, and met
John Michael
Dillon, who had been assigned there for his advanced, single engine, flight
training. After graduating, he was kept on as flight instructor.

Dot and John were married, on 31 Dec 1941, in the Chapel of Turner Field, Albany, Georgia. They had two sons, Michael Jensen (b 1943) and David John (b 1944).
John was in the Air Force for more than thirty years of active military duty and numerous national and global assignments: WW2 Pilot Training, Berlin Airlift, European Army of Occupation, combat flying in Korea as a squadron commander, and tour duties at the Pentagon.
Over the course of his career, the family lived in Georgia, Germany, Mississippi, Illinois, Texas, Hawaii, Virginia, and Florida.
Their son, Michael J. married Sandra Lynn Robb, 18 Feb 1966, in the Chapel of McCoy Air Force Base, Orlando, FL. They had two children: John Michael Dillon II (b 1970), and Sherri Lynn Dillon (b 1972).

John retired from the USAF in 1969, as a full Colonel. After his retirement, they settled in the Clearwater area of Florida.
Their son, David J., married Sandra Elizabeth Snyder, 24 Nov 1979, in Florida. They had two children: Jensen Elizabeth (b 1980) and Jeffrey David (b 1982).
DEATH: Dot died on 17 Nov 1978, at Mease Hospital, in Dunedin, FL.
BURIAL: The funeral service was at 11:00 A.M., on 20 Nov 1978, in the Moss Dunedin Chapel, Dunedin, Florida.
Mr. Donald H. Markwood, First Reader, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Clearwater, FL,
officiated. Her burial was in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Pinellas County, FL.
